About Our Red Birch Flooring
“Red” birch, so called because it contains mainly heartwood, is darker in tone than our other types of Birch, displaying more of the dark yellow to brownish red heart color. The reddish tone can be played up through the use of stain.
Birch is a fine-grained wood known for its satiny sheen. When Birch exhibits ripple figuring similar to Tiger Maple, it is known as “Curly” Birch.
Birch is a hardwood with excellent impact resistance, ideal for any room in your home.
