Oak is one of the widest ranging species on earth, and the very best of it grows right here in southern New England. Red Oak is used in timber framing as well as flooring, furniture making, cabinetry, and other uses where its legendary sturdiness comes into play. Sourced from the Northern United States, where colder weather and shorter growing seasons lead to slow, dense growth, our tongue and groove Red Oak flooring is exceptionally strong and durable, and we recommend it for high traffic areas.

Red Oak’s natural reddish hue is a classic look that works with any decor. Red Oak also takes stain beautifully and a wide variety of finish tones can be achieved.
